Cookies and device storage

Last updated 20 October 2026Version 2.0 Español

1. In short

  • rollostudio.com sets no cookies. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
  • Your basket and project list are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they are still there next time. This is part of the service you ask for when you add something.
  • We count visits anonymously, without cookies and without any identifier. You can switch this off on this page.
  • When you pay, you move to Stripe’s payment page, which uses its own necessary cookies for payment and fraud prevention.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. “Similar technologies” include local storage (data a site saves in your browser) and scripts that read or send information from your device. Spanish law (Article 22.2 of the LSSI) requires a website to ask for your consent before using them, except when they are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for or, under the Spanish data protection authority’s guidance, used only for anonymous audience measurement. We only use technologies in those categories, and we explain each one here so you know exactly what happens.

4. The anonymous visit counter

Each time a page loads, our site sends one short record to our database: the page, the website that sent you (if any), any campaign tags in the link, your browser’s language, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer) and, when you click a key button (for example “Buy now” or a download), its name. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address and does not give you any identifier, so we cannot recognise you or follow you between visits or across other websites. The data is used only by us, only to see how the site is used, and is never combined with your orders or messages or shared with anyone for advertising.

This follows the conditions set by the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) for audience measurement without consent. You can still switch it off for this browser with the switch at the end of this page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not count your visits at all.

5. Other providers

  • Images. Some images on this site are delivered by Wix’s servers. To show them, your browser contacts those servers, which see your IP address like any web server. No cookies are set.
  • Database. Our database provider, Supabase, uses Cloudflare to protect its servers. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm, 30 minutes) on its own domain to detect automated traffic. Your browser normally does not store it for our requests; if it does, it is a security cookie that does not need consent.
  • Links. Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, our stockists and other sites only take you there when you click. Those sites have their own cookie policies.

6. How to control or delete what is stored

  • Basket: remove the pieces in the basket, or complete your order.
  • Project list: use “Clear list” on the project page.
  • Everything at once: clear your browser’s data for rollostudio.com (in most browsers: Settings > Privacy > Cookies and site data). Your basket and project list will then be lost.
  • Visit counting: use the switch at the end of this page.

7. Changes

If we ever want to use cookies or technologies that need your consent (for example advertising or third-party analytics), we will ask you first, with a clear choice to accept or reject, before anything is set. We will update this page and its date.

Your choice

On: your visits are counted anonymously, without cookies.

This choice is saved in this browser only (in local storage, as rs.nocount).
