We want everyone to be able to browse, choose and buy our pieces, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
1. Our approach
We design and build this site to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, as far as we can. In practice this means:
- text alternatives for meaningful images, and descriptions of every piece in words as well as pictures;
- a clear heading structure and page landmarks, so screen readers can move around each page;
- navigation, menus, the basket and checkout that work with a keyboard;
- text that can be enlarged up to 200% without losing content;
- fewer animations when your device asks for reduced motion;
- prices, sizes and materials written as text, never only in images.
2. Known limitations
We are a small studio and we test the site ourselves; it has not been audited by an independent expert. We know about these limitations and are working on them:
- the Colour Studio and the room preview are visual tools. Everything they show (the colour names and RAL codes, and the price) is also available as text, and we are happy to send you colour samples or advice by email;
- some spec sheets and PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible to screen readers;
- some light grey text and small labels may not reach the contrast we aim for;
- some older images may not yet have complete descriptions.
3. Get help or another format
If anything on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, contact us and we will help you choose, order and pay by email or phone:
- Email: info@rollostudio.com (subject “Accessibility”)
- Phone: +34 614 412 917
We usually reply within 2 working days. Please also tell us about any barrier you find, so we can fix it.
4. Visiting the showroom
Our showroom in València is open by appointment. Tell us when you book if you need any help with access, and we will make the visit as easy as we can.
5. Legal status
Spain’s Law 11/2023 on accessibility requirements for products and services, which transposes the European Accessibility Act, applies to e-commerce services from 28 June 2025. Micro-enterprises that provide services, like ours, are exempt from its requirements (Article 3.3). We follow the guidelines above voluntarily and will meet the Law’s requirements in full if we grow beyond a micro-enterprise.
